A note from the Founder:
Both of my parents were entrepreneurs and I was raised in an environment that was very supportive of the entrepreneurial mindset. Looking back, I realize that travelling down the path of entrepreneurship was inevitable for me. I know the value I place on entrepreneurship in my life, and now I find myself watching my own two young daughters grow before my eyes. I am compelled by a strong determination to fuel young female minds with the tools and the attitude they need in order to develop the entrepreneurial mindset. Feeling a deep desire to connect with an initiative that touches my heart, I chose to launch
The ShePreneur Project.
I believe that by inspiring and educating young women on entrepreneurship, it will allow them to develop important life skills, learn to be self-sufficient and help them reach their full potential with confidence and conviction.
Not all girls grow up in an environment that nurtures the characteristics that are vital to the inception of any business. The ShePreneur Project has a mission to equip girls who face life challenges with the knowledge, self-assurance and mentorship they need to find something that inspires them to think about creating a business of their own. We want to show young women that the impossible can be made possible, and that they have the power to live any dream with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Entrepreneurship is the one career in which education is not a prerequisite. It doesn't matter where you came from or what talents you have. You need only to possess passion, drive, a grit mindset and good decision-making skills. And then, the sky is the limit on what you can achieve.
